Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide pharmaceutical care within a hospital setting in Torrance, CA, with a focus on inpatient pharmacy services. This contract position offers a variable schedule working four 10-hour shifts per week, primarily during afternoons and variable days.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate dispensing of medication and provide pharmaceutical counsel to patients and medical staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize drug therapy and ensure patient safety.
• Meet all regulatory and hospital guidelines.
• Successfully complete a competency examination as part of the onboarding process.

Desired Experience And Qualifications

• Pharmacists with a PGY1 residency or approximately two years of current inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Ability to adapt to variable schedules and work effectively within a hospital pharmacy environment.
• Commitment to passing a competency exam on the first attempt.
• Eligibility to undergo Livescan background screening.
