Location:
- Torrance, CA (within a large county health system)
- Primarily 8-hour shifts
- Flexibility to work all shifts, mainly 1st and 2nd shifts; occasional 3rd shift may be required
- Deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services within an inpatient hospital setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient medication management
- Participate in the pharmacy’s operational workflow to support patient safety and regulatory compliance
- Prepare for and pass a competency examination as part of the onboarding process
- Comply with background screening and credentialing requirements prior to start
- PGY-1 residency preferred but will consider candidates with equivalent inpatient experience (~2 years)
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills applicable to hospital pharmacy practice
- Ability to work effectively within a unionized, large health system environment
- Commitment to pursuing permanent placement within the system
- This is a contract assignment with a potential pathway to permanent employment
