Speech Therapist in Anoka, MN

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to cover multiple maternity leaves in Anoka, MN. This role involves providing onsite speech therapy services across several elementary and middle schools, offering a mix of direct and indirect service delivery.

Key Details

• Location: Anoka, MN
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
• Service Model: 3 weeks direct therapy, 1 week indirect services
• Caseload: Typical elementary school caseload with some students in Setting III CDC; therapy-only caseload (no evaluations)
• Duration: Varying start and end dates aligned with maternity leave coverage
  
  

Assignments Include

• 0.4 FTE at an elementary school in Brooklyn Center from mid-December to late March
• 0.8 FTE at an elementary school in Blaine from late January to mid-March
• 0.5 FTE at a middle school in Blaine from now through the end of the school year
• 0.1 FTE in-person support from early January through the end of May
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC or school certification
• Eligible candidates include CFs (Clinical Fellows); SLPA applicants will not be considered
• Experience working within school settings preferred
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and provide therapy based on a 3:1 service schedule
  
  

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech therapy services to students with a range of speech and language needs
• Participate in indirect service activities during designated weeks
• Collaborate with school staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow district guidelines
