Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an engaging educational environment and positively impact students’ communication skills. This school-based contract position seeks 6 full-time Speech-Language Pathologists, including recent graduates eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CF) mentorship, for the 2026-2027 academic year. With a start date in late August and students arriving after Labor Day, you’ll work onsite in a collaborative setting alongside dedicated educators and support staff.
Your assignment will be based in one of the district’s vibrant elementary schools, where you will serve a diverse caseload and have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students and their families.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Minnesota SLP license with dual certification in view (PDF required for consideration)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP preferred; open to strong CF candidates
- Previous school-based experience is highly valued, though not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, onsite, five days a week
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Assess, diagnose, and document students’ speech, language, and communication needs in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Consult and collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and support staff
- Maintain thorough records of assessments, progress reports, and communication logs
