This position seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students within a school setting in Plainfield, IL. The role requires expertise in delivering speech and language services tailored to the needs of diverse student populations.

Key Qualifications

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working as an SLP in school environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and students.
  • Knowledge of Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation.

Location:

  • Position based in Plainfield, IL, within a school district.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations related to special education services.
  • Provide therapy sessions targeting articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
