Make a meaningful impact by providing speech and language services for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for passionate clinicians interested in helping students reach their communication goals during the 2026/2027 school year. The assignment covers 375 hours and offers a manageable caseload averaging 55 students (maximum 61).
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Valid California licensure or eligibility for licensure
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) welcome to apply
- Experience in a school setting, or a strong desire to support K-8 students
- Ability to provide direct and consultative speech therapy services and conduct thorough assessments
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Flexible, collaborative approach to working with school teams and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech-language therapy to students on your caseload
- Conduct initial and periodic assessments to identify communication needs and measure progress
- Develop, implement, and update IEP goals tailored to each student
- Consult with teachers and staff to support student learning and social skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain all necessary documentation per school guidelines
- Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure student success
