A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-8 school setting located in Pawtucket, RI. This contract position focuses on supporting students with behavioral needs, providing targeted speech and language interventions to enhance communication skills and academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students in grades K through 8
• Manage a caseload with a focus on behavioral needs, adapting strategies to support diverse learners
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop effective communication goals
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain detailed documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
  
  

Qualifications

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC preferred
• Experience working in school-based settings with students in elementary and middle school
• Familiarity with behavioral needs and strategies in speech-language therapy
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals
• SLPA experience or CFY status is a plus
