Key Qualifications
- Current RN license with solid clinical experience, including at least 1 year in your initial RN role
- Minimum of 1 years experience at a Level 1 trauma center or a very large hospital setting
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system is mandatory
- Chemotherapy certification is not required but experience in hematology/oncology nursing is beneficial
- Previous travel nursing experience with contract extensions preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed
- Utilize EPIC system for accurate documentation and communication
- Educate patients and families regarding disease processes and treatment plans
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
