Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Paterson, NJ

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Paterson, NJ, providing services to students from PreK through 8th grade, with most students aged 3 to 8 years old. This contract role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive school setting, focusing on delivering quality speech therapy to a caseload of 25 students.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized speech-language therapy sessions for students primarily between ages 3 and 8
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students communication development
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of therapy goals, progress, and outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention planning and evaluation
  
  

Qualifications

• Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC or eligibility for CCC)
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 25 students effectively

• Contract length: May 1st through mid to late October 2026, with optional summer work
• Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
