Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Paterson, NJ

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) is needed to provide specialized support at an early childhood school in Paterson, NJ. This maternity leave contract runs from September through December and involves working approximately 35 hours per week with Pre-K students. The average caseload consists of 35 children requiring speech and language therapy.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Delivering individualized speech and language therapy sessions to Pre-K students.
• Conducting thorough speech and language evaluations.
• Writing detailed reports and progress notes.
• Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience Required

• Active Speech/Language Specialist NJ Certification (#3462).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Background in pediatric speech therapy within healthcare or school settings.
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 35 students effectively.
