This part-time contract role (0.5 FTE) focuses on providing comprehensive assessment and therapy services in a school-based environment. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in working with preschool students
- Familiarity with school-based SLP practices and assessment protocols
- Ability to conduct and interpret a variety of speech/language evaluations
- Competence in serving diverse student populations, including private and nonpublic school settings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative attitude suited to working alongside educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete thorough speech/language assessments for preschool, private, and nonpublic school students
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions in accordance with evaluation results and IEPs
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation of services, progress, and communications
- Consult and collaborate with educational teams, providing recommendations and supporting strategies
- Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to IEP development and parent conferences as needed
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech/language therapy
