Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience providing speech and language services to middle, high school, and/or transition-aged students preferred
- Skill in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and providing direct interventions
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort with engaging in PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy for students in grades 6, 7, 8, and the transition population (12 )
- Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough documentation
- Participate in and contribute to PPT meetings scheduled on your designated workdays
- Consult and collaborate with educators, specialists, and families regarding student needs and progress
- Support students’ development of functional communication skills essential for academic and post-secondary success
