A contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a high school setting in West Hartford, CT. This role involves working with a diverse caseload to provide essential speech and language therapy services during the current school year through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities Include

• Delivering tailored speech and language therapy to approximately 45 students
• Managing a high school caseload effectively, ensuring progress for each student
• Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintaining detailed documentation and records in compliance with school policies
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to support student communication and academic success
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with credentials relevant to the school setting
• Experience working with high school students in speech and language therapy
• Ability to manage a caseload of around 45 students, demonstrating strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
