Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Oregon teaching license with a Speech Impaired or Communications Disorder Endorsement and/or State of Oregon SLP License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior work with students with moderate and severe disabilities valued
- Familiarity with a variety of augmentative communication systems (low and high tech)
- Valid Oregon driver’s license
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- First Aid/CPR certification may be required
- Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluation and therapy
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document services and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Support students using a full range of communication systems
