Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Tacoma, WA

Passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are sought for contract opportunities supporting elementary and middle school students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Key Qualifications

• Active or eligible for Washington SLPA licensure
• Completion of OSPI fingerprinting (or willingness to fulfill this requirement prior to start)
• Prior experience working in educational settings is valuable
• Middle school experience preferred for the middle school-focused role
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff, students, and families
  
  

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy to students under the guidance and supervision of a virtual SLP
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication needs
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation of session activities
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing professional learning
