Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Anoka, MN

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract role covers two onsite, part-time opportunities supporting Northdale Middle School (0.7 FTE) and Andover Elementary/High School. The assignment runs from late August through early June, with a full-time equivalent workweek of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday. You’ll be valued as a collaborative member of the team, providing essential speech and language services during the academic day.

Key Qualifications:

• Must possess a current Minnesota SLPA license with the required dual certification; pending licensure is not accepted
• School-based experience as an SLPA is strongly preferred
• The ability to work on-site across multiple school locations within the district
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities
• A genuine passion for enriching the school experience for children and teens

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services to assigned caseload under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Implement student treatment plans and document progress effectively
• Collaborate with educational teams to support IEP goals
• Assist with student assessments, data collection, and reporting compliance
• Participate in staff meetings and required professional development
