Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders within the educational environment.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement and monitor effective therapy strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as necessary.
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educator Certificate.
- Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered.
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred.
- Must be available for onsite work in Columbus, GA; remote or VOCO candidates are not eligible.
