Both onsite and, potentially, virtual providers are being considered as the school year approaches.

Key Qualifications

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for New York State
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and student needs

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language assessments and reassessments as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy to students with a variety of speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt services based on evolving caseload details
