Position Details
- Duration: June 23, 2026 July 30, 2026
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday; classroom hours from 8:30am to 3:00pm; student instructional time from 9:00am to 2:30pm
- Orientation: June 23-25, 2026 (8:30am3:00pm)
- Caseload and assignments will be finalized in late May or early June, with efforts to honor requests for grade level or classroom type wherever possible.
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with moderate to severe special education needs consistent with PA DOE standards
- Implement IEP goals and behavioral plans collaboratively with support staff and families
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Participate in orientation and preparation sessions prior to student instruction
- Active Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification required
- For those with Emergency Permits, enrollment in an approved certification program is mandatory
- Minimum one-year hiatus required if previously employed by this client through another agency
- Reliable transportation and residence within 35 minutes of assigned school site
- Commitment to full ESY schedule and demonstration of professional reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work effectively with populations exhibiting behaviors associated with moderate to severe needs
- Complete candidate profile including full name and city of residence

- Proof of current licensure or emergency permit with program enrollment
- One professional reference from a SPED supervisor (minimum 3.5 rating if using RefAssure)
