General Education Teacher | Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

A part-time Health & Physical Education teaching opportunity is available serving K-12 classrooms across several school districts in Lehigh County, PA. This role entails delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction that fosters physical fitness, health literacy, and lifelong wellness among students. The position follows the school calendar with an anticipated end date of June 12, 2026.

Located primarily in the Catasauqua, Parkland, and Salisbury School Districts, the role requires approximately 20 hours per week over three days. The teacher will create a safe and inclusive environment, promoting physical activity, motor skills development, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle choices, while adapting lessons to meet diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement standards-aligned Health and Physical Education lesson plans
• Promote physical fitness and social-emotional development through structured activities
• Ensure classroom and equipment safety for all students
• Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress
• Collaborate with school staff and maintain communication with families
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning space tailored to diverse student abilities
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate with Health & Physical Education PK12 or Physical Education PK12 endorsement
• Bachelors degree in Health, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or closely related field
• Experience teaching Health and Physical Education across K-12 settings is preferred
