Two Occupational Therapist positions are available in the Bethlehem, PA area, serving students in special education settings. These contract roles focus on delivering school-based occupational therapy services that support students' functional, motor, sensory, and adaptive skills, fostering independence and educational success.
Locations:
- One OT position in Carbon County
- One OT position in Lehigh County
Schedule & Duration:
- 35 hours per week
- Assignment start: ASAP through approximately June 12, 2026 (aligned with the school calendar)
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services within special education classrooms
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers and related service providers
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding student care
- Document services accurately using electronic systems
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Experience working with students in special education settings
- Proven involvement in IEP development and execution
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Effective collaboration and communication with educators, service providers, and families
- Proficiency with electronic documentation tools and basic computer applications
