A dedicated Special Education Teacher is needed to support students with mild to moderate learning needs in an in-person setting. This full-time role focuses on developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements, fostering academic growth and personal development in a supportive environment.

Location:

• Detroit, MI, at a K-5 educational setting specializing in arts and design.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with students, parents, and staff to create and execute effective IEPs.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students with special needs.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with federal and state education guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid Special Education Certification with SPED endorsement for the state of Michigan.
