This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher with an active Michigan SPED license to provide vital support to middle school students in grades 6-8. The role is set in a school environment located in Farmington, MI, and offers a contract position for the remainder of the academic year. The position involves managing a caseload of students while collaborating closely with paraeducator support to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities in grades 6-8.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure each student's academic and social growth.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to create a cohesive educational experience.
• Assist in covering responsibilities across two locations, providing comprehensive support where needed.
• Manage a caseload approximately 30 hours per week, maintaining clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Special Education teacher license.
