A full-semester contract position is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher to support 8th grade students in a middle school setting located in Dover, NH. This role emphasizes case management responsibilities with additional support in small group classroom instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an 8th grade case manager, coordinating individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitoring student progress
• Assist with small group instruction to provide targeted support and accommodate learning needs
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure appropriate interventions and accommodations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation required by educational regulations and school policies
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and engagement
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Valid Special Education teaching certification or license applicable to the middle school level
• Previous experience managing IEP caseloads for middle school students
