Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker

• Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds
• Solid understanding of special education laws and processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver counseling services to students individually and in small groups
• Address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns, designing targeted interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop strategies for student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and assist with the development of student support plans
• Provide crisis intervention and connect families to community resources as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
