SLP in Bellefonte, PA

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school located in Bellefonte, PA. This contract role offers 35 hours per week onsite, primarily focusing on preschool and early intervention services. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year (EOSY).

Candidates should hold a valid SLP certification and, ideally, a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with children in early education settings and knowledge of early intervention techniques are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment, collaborating closely with educators and families to support student progress.

Responsibilities Include

• Conducting speech and language evaluations and screenings for preschool-aged children
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Providing direct therapy services and monitoring student progress
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support childrens communication needs
• Maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with school policies
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience with preschool and early intervention populations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
