A K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the Fredericksburg, VA area, serving schools within the Washington DC region. This full-time contract role runs from January 5, 2026, through May 29, 2026, with a typical workweek of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday. Part-time candidates may be considered if they can commit to at least 20 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language evaluation and therapy services to elementary and middle school students, maintaining caseloads typically around 50 students, not exceeding 55.
• Manage assignments across one or two schools to effectively support student needs.
• Collaborate with school teams to develop individualized plans and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Supervise Clinical Fellows as appropriate; current Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) can be considered for review.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Virginia SLP licensure is required.
• Candidates with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows are welcome as supervision will be provided.
• Experience working with K-12 elementary and middle school age groups is beneficial but not a strict requirement.
• Ability to work in person; remote or hybrid work options are not available.
