Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Fredericksburg, Virginia

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide in-person services to a middle school student in Bridgton, ME. This unique opportunity involves working with a 13-year-old student who recently relocated from Virginia and requires compensatory speech services coordinated through their previous district. The role is a contract position for the current school year, with exact start and end dates to be determined.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approximately 4 hours of direct speech therapy services tailored to the student's needs.
• Provide therapy sessions in a designated classroom or clinic space within the students current school district.
• Coordinate services outside of regular school hours, likely during mornings or afternoons.
• Collaborate with other therapists providing related occupational therapy and special education services.

Qualifications

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Eligibility to provide services under school-based settings, including CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates.
