A K-12 school in Everett, WA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position spanning the school year. This role is ideal for a passionate professional eager to support children with speech and language disorders within an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting speech and language difficulties
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
• Facilitate targeted therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
• Monitor and maintain detailed documentation of student progress and outcomes
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including educators, counselors, and other specialists
• Engage with families to educate and involve them in the therapeutic process
  
  

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with students, families, and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in Washington State is required
