Key Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working as an SLP within school environments
• Strong understanding of childhood language development and speech disorders
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in children
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
• Commitment to student-centered care and individualized service planning
  
  

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for students with a variety of needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals and abilities
• Provide direct speech therapy services using evidence-based techniques
• Document student progress, update records, and prepare reports for meetings and educational planning
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Participate in professional development and contribute to program improvements
