School Speech Language Pathologist - Schertz, Texas

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in schools located in the Schertz, TX area. This role involves working directly on-site across two campuses with students in preschool through 8th grade. Candidates must hold a current SLP license with CCC certification.

Responsibilities Include

• Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments for students
• Preparing for and attending ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
• Supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-As)
• Providing additional testing support as needed
• Managing caseloads of approximately 20-37 students at assigned schools
• Collaborating with school staff to support student needs and treatment planning
  
  

Qualified candidates will have experience working in a school setting and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills. Bilingual or monolingual SLPs are encouraged to apply. The position requires a valid Texas SLP license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and, if applicable, ASHA certification with hours logged. References will be required.
