Bilingual School Speech & Language Pathology Assistant | Schertz, Texas

A school district in Schertz, TX is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to support the communication development of students within an educational setting from March 23, 2026, through May 28, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering services to students with speech and language disorders
• Implement treatment plans and activities designed to improve communication skills
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes according to district and professional guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student success
• Provide bilingual speech-language support as preferred, but monolingual candidates are also considered
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English are preferred to accommodate diverse student needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a school team environment
• Commitment to a 37.5-hour workweek during the contract period from 3/23/26 to 5/28/26
