School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | Jacksonville, Florida

In this role, you’ll provide direct speech services to a traditional caseload, making a meaningful impact on students’ daily lives.

Qualifications

• Current FL DOH Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) licensure
• Minimum 2 years of SLPA experience, including at least 6 months in a school-based setting
• Experience supporting pediatric caseloads
• Ability to navigate time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprint clearance and JLA badge application (support will be provided)
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  
  

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech and language interventions to assigned students as outlined in their IEPs
• Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and staff to foster student success
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in student support meetings
• Engage families in the intervention process to maximize student outcomes
