What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist - FT position at Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Jacksonville?
Position Summary:
Independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current State Speech/Language Pathology License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
Desired Qualifications:
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frame
