School Speech and Language Pathologist | Kent, Washington

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support elementary students for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year, with the potential to extend through summer for compensatory services. This role is located in Port Orchard, WA, and requires an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 38 elementary students
• Deliver services in both in-person and remote learning environments, adapting to virtual models as necessary
• Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including assessments and progress reports
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with elementary-aged students
• Strong technology skills to support remote service delivery during virtual learning phases
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing instructional models and environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
