Opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Batavia, NY Contract Position

This role offers the chance to work with K-12 students, primarily elementary with some high school involvement, in a school setting near Letchworth State Park. The contract runs from September 2025 through June 2026, following the academic calendar.

Responsibilities

• Administer comprehensive speech and language assessments; develop individualized therapy plans
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement accommodations and modifications
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to goal setting
• Offer support and resources to parents and caregivers to reinforce student development
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and education-related regulations
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
