This contract opportunity is for a Registered Nurse (RN) serving a high school setting in Puyallup, WA. The position requires a commitment of 32.5 hours per week throughout the school year, providing essential healthcare support to students across different locations during the week. The role involves working in a preschool health room on Mondays and Wednesdays and providing one-on-one nursing care at the high school on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Bus transportation is required as nursing duties include accompanying a student on the bus.

Candidates must hold an active Washington state nursing license and prior one-on-one nursing experience is preferred. The primary responsibilities include supporting a student with specific health needs such as managing G-tube feedings, where the nurse initiates feeding upon arrival at school and stops the feeding prior to departure. The students family provides additional support and training, and collaboration with the building nurse ensures a strong support system.
