Position Details
- Location: Puyallup, WA
- Contract term: Late August 2026 through mid-June 2027
- Schedule: 37 hours per week
- Work environment: 100% in-person at local schools
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop effective intervention plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support students social-emotional development
- Assist in implementing behavior management strategies and positive behavior supports
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings to advocate for student accommodations and services
- Promote a safe and supportive school climate by addressing mental health concerns proactively
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments and delivering interventions in K-12 settings
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and school teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within the school calendar
