Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Alabama School Psychologist license or School Psychometrist educator certification (must be eligible for immediate school-based employment)
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills
- Ability to provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Flexibility to travel between assigned schools as needs require
- Must provide images of relevant licenses at the time of application
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for students referred for services
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop education and intervention plans
- Support schools with consultation on a wide range of student mental health and learning concerns
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to foster positive educational outcomes
- Document evaluations and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
