Ideal Candidates Will Possess

• Active RN license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential
• Experience in a school nursing environment, preferably at the middle or high school level
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond quickly to student health needs
• Familiarity with medication administration and health room documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Confidence managing health concerns independently
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for students who visit the health room with symptoms of illness or injury
• Administer prescribed medications according to parental and physician instructions
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation for student visits
• Communicate with students, families, and school staff regarding health issues as appropriate
• Promote healthy practices and serve as a resource for health-related questions
• Ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations
