School Psychologist - El Dorado, KS

In this role, you'll partner closely with teachers, administrators, families, and other educational specialists. Working proactively, you'll assess student needs, help develop effective intervention plans, and offer counseling to support social, behavioral, and academic growth.

Desired Qualifications And Experience

• Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility in Kansas)
• Previous experience supporting students in a school setting
• Thorough knowledge of current evaluation practices, special education laws, and best practices for intervention
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Comfortable working with diverse student populations
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Administer psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs
• Provide one-on-one and group counseling for students facing behavioral, emotional, or academic challenges
• Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Offer crisis intervention and participate in team-based support planning
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
