Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychological services, assessments, and interventions to support student learning and well-being.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and strategies.
- Conduct student evaluations and contribute professional insights to promote academic and emotional development.
- Participate in meetings and maintain timely documentation of services in accordance with district policies.
- Support crisis intervention and consult on behavioral management plans.
- Active and valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license (required; license verification screenshot must be submitted).
- Prior experience working in school-based settings, ideally with high school students.
- Familiarity with special education regulations and psychological assessment tools.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to complete required Springfield CORI/fingerprint background check promptly.
- Position duration: Contract through the current school year ending June 25, 2026.
- Full-time schedule: 35 hours per week.
