School Psych - Niagara Falls, New York

A K-12 educational institution in the Niagara Falls area is seeking a licensed School Psychologist, Social Worker, or School Counselor to provide support during a maternity leave from January through April. This contract position offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time hours, tailored to the candidates preference, serving primarily at the middle school level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive psychological services, counseling, or social work support to students
• Collaborate with educators and staff to address the social, emotional, and educational needs of students
• Participate in assessments and develop individualized plans to assist students academic and personal development
• Maintain confidential records and comply with relevant state and school district regulations
• Provide crisis intervention and referrals as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Current and valid licensure as a School Psychologist, Social Worker, or School Counselor
• Experience working within a school setting, preferably grades K-12 and middle school focus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule and work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team
