School Occupational Therapist - Niagara Falls, New York

Providing occupational and physical therapy services for homeschool students from kindergarten through 12th grade, this contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students' educational experiences. Based in Niagara Falls, NY, the role involves delivering specialized therapy directly in students homes throughout the current school year.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 10 occupational therapy sessions per week and 4 physical therapy sessions per week to homeschool students
• Travel locally to students residences to provide individualized therapy services
• Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to support functional and educational goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist and/or Physical Therapist
• Experience working with school-age children, particularly in home-based or educational settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule, including travel to multiple home locations safely and efficiently
