Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current School Psychologist certification/license in Connecticut
• Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Experience working with diverse student populations in an educational setting
• Strong skills in psycho-educational evaluations, report writing, and interpretation of results
• Knowledge of special education processes, IEP development, and legal requirements
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build relationships with students and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group assessments to identify academic and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students’ educational progress
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning and behavior
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation of services and progress
