The Assistant Building Inspector is responsible for inspection work at the full performance level involving building construction in the Town and the issuance of building permits. Duties include processing applications and building permits, reviewing construction plans, and inspecting building construction. This position also has the responsibility for making difficult building code enforcement decisions in accordance with the Connecticut Basic Building Code.
