School Psych - Dearborn, Michigan

A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the upcoming school year starting July 7th in Dearborn, MI. This on-site role supports a high school consisting of four campuses with a special education population of approximately 110-120 students. The psychologist will work directly with students, staff, and families to provide comprehensive psychological services aimed at promoting student success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students within special education programs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
• Support the development and implementation of behavioral interventions and support plans
• Participate in multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) to address academic and social-emotional needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations related to school psychology services
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure for Michigan
• Experience working with secondary special education populations preferred
• Strong assessment and intervention skills across a variety of student needs
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
