A school psychologist position is available to provide essential psychological services and support to students within a school setting. This role involves collaborating closely with educators and families to assess student needs, create intervention plans, and promote mental health, contributing to a supportive educational environment.

Located in Warren, MI, this contract position requires an onsite presence and offers a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours during the 20262027 school year, with specific dates to be determined.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to identify students strengths and areas of need
• Develop and implement tailored intervention strategies to support student well-being and academic success
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to address students emotional and behavioral challenges
• Promote mental health awareness and facilitate supportive services within the school community
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant school policies and confidentiality standards

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification
• Preferably experience working within a school environment
• Strong skills in assessment and intervention techniques
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
