Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique physical and cognitive requirements.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to support students functional abilities and optimize their engagement in academic activities.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom environment.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide consultation and education to staff and families regarding ergonomics, adaptive equipment, and strategies to support student participation.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in pediatric or school-based therapy settings.
- Strong knowledge of educational regulations and IDEA compliance.
- Skilled in assessment tools and therapeutic modalities appropriate for school-aged children.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and educational goals.
