Key Qualifications

• Active and valid Occupational Therapist license (California)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress documentation
• Organizational skills to manage evaluations, recordkeeping, and scheduling across multiple grade levels
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet varied student needs
  
  

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students with a range of needs
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, treatment sessions, and reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and updates
• Support students in developing skills for academic participation, self-care, and daily routines
